Teri – I so agree with you. Slavery was a sin in America and also in my country of birth. The consequences are far reaching and unfortunately we still have division and prejudice (from both sides!) to this day. Thank you for your insight and encouragement. God bless you, sister!

I was always going to vote but frankly I was troubled about supporting a Mormon candidate. However Dr. Stanley’s article and his messages and your devotion helped me to understand that we must choose and we should make that choice based on Godly convictions. I would disagree with you that our country started on the wrong path in the 60s but would trace it back to our founding when our leaders compromised on the institution of slavery. That one compromise, sin has had far reaching and long lasting consequences on our country. The enemy uses skin color to divide us in the church and impacts our witness. Thanks for your devotion.
