I had been struggling for some time, wondering whether or not God is real. I talked to my mom about it. I asked her – what if the bible is ust another book, like The Chronicles of Narnia? She told me that believing is a matter of faith, like for example we believe in the wind but we cannot see it! She also told me that the only way I would know that God is real is if I read my bible more often and prayed more. My mom then said that if I asked, God would speak to me that very day.
So I went to my room and read my Jesus Calling for kids (By the way, you should totally get it – it really strengthens your faith!!).
Before I began reading, I prayed and asked God to talk to me. I opened up my Jesus Calling book to that day and it was about listening to God’s voice. The bible verse for that day was the one I wrote above Ephesians 4:5-6: “There is ONE God…”
I came downstairs crying out of joy!!! I could tell that God was speaking to me, showing me how real He really is. I now have assurance that God is real!! He really spoke to me and I have not been the same since that day.
God answers your prayers and He wants to show you how real He really is! You just have to pray and ask him. Here is a good verse to go with that, Matthew 7:7 “Ask and you shall receive, Seek and you shall find, knock and the door shall be opened to you.”

Great message Adriana, I pray your “I believe” message would reach every woman, young, old and in between, who have never heard from God and may falsely believe that he only spoke in Old Testament days, and that they would adopt a new attitude and belief in their prayer life as well as scripture reading, seeking God’s face in faith.

I had an experience like your the other day. I was praying to God and he gave me a prayer to write down from him. In the middle of the prayer I felt that God told me to write ” I am will take care of you” While I was on the phone with a friend of mine, he began to pray for me and he said “Stephanie, I believe the Lord is saying to you that He is “I am” and that you need to trust Him. So, I know exactly how you felt when the Lord revealed himself to you. Keep writing! Love you sweetie!

Yes Adriana, God is real as your mom said. I speak with Him all the time, I also believe that as long as we have faith we will hear his voice no matter how old we are. May God Bless you always.
