I wasn’t taught in my home about Jesus’ saving grace; all I felt was I had to live up to my family’s expectations which were, sadly for the most part, “fitting in” with worldly expectations. I, too, suffered with anorexia which God miraculously enabled me to beat. My daughter, though, became bulimic, due not to what I would tell her, but how she would internalize her grandmother’s words about gaining weight and cave to the social images with which Satan attacks us. Thankfully, she, too, is healed.
We need never worry about how anyone sees us in this world. God created us in His own image and we are His children. If that’s not enough, I don’t know what is.

I spent 55 yrs. of my life as a practicing perfectionist, full of arrogance and contempt for the perceived inadequacy (imperfection) of others. When I came to Christ (He came and got me), I saw myself to be the fool I had lived as for so long, all wasted years. We can’t know ourselves unless we know Jesus. All glory to God for how he is using you, blessing your ministry and family for His glory. May He bless you in even greater ways as He gives you topics and words to go with them for all that you write and say.
