When it took over two years to find a publisher interested in taking on my books, you can just imagine what was going through my head when I’d question God, knowing He, through His Holy Spirit, guided me through every written word, but now, it seemed, He had stalled out in the process. I grew impatient. I was disappointed. I asked God, “What’s going on? You wanted me to write this. Why the wait?”
Long story short, the wait was invaluable to me and also offered me a new way to serve Him through my devotional blog. I’ve grown as a writer, as a more compassionate person, and my trust and faith in our loving Father has increased by leaps and bounds. His timing, no matter what we think, is always the best!
