Thanks you so much for sharing your thoughts on the topic of tragedies and the suffering so many people experience when it enters their lives. Your personal encounter with it makes it all the more meaningful. Although we will never have an answer to the “whys” in this life, you have given us a way to look at it that will help carry us through, and give us hope and purpose.
I have shared your article with my friends on FB and know it will encourage many more people to pray for and reach out to those who suffer. I’ll see you at the conference!

Great article Patricia. I was blessed by your emphasis on prayer & empathy for those suffering through tragedies while knowing that we cannot explain why, we can know that God has a higher purpose in them. Our duty is to pray for the hurting, the results belong to God. Glory be to God again for the way He is using you mightily to comfort others and glorify Him doing it.
