Amen, Martha! We must repeat that often, cause the world tells them often that they are not enough!

Amen, Patricia!
The issues teens face today are SO much more stressful and harmful than we ever had to deal with. Letting them know, from early years on, that they are beloved by God who made them beautifully and uniquely, is the best lesson we can give them, and keep on teaching them.
Blessings!

I know, right? It's a beautiful tool... but it's all about balance. And, as you said, the most important thing: we need to talk to our children. They are usually eager to share their struggles, if they don't feel like we are judging them. I love to have that kind of relationship with my teen!

Thanks, Nylse! Blessings,

I remember being 14 - it was a time of confusion and figuring out who I was. The thing is no one knew this as I carried on as normal - I kept to myself, worked a summer job, kept my grades up and read a lot. But I remember the fragility of that time.
It might have helped to have someone to talk to (I guess) but I'm glad we as parents today are more aware and can have these conversations with our children. It's good that they still want to talk to us in spite of the preponderance of information from social media. Balancing SM input is good for both adults and children - though as a blogger its my primary platform.
