But easter eggs still had a huge place in the occasion & there was no teaching on personal relationship through Jesus.

When I came to know Jesus as my personal Savoir I taught my own children the importance of having a personal relationship rather than focus on easter eggs (even though they had them) I taught them the importance of new life that comes (eggs symbolizing new life) in knowing Jesus.
