It brought to mind Pastor Cymbala’s account of His oldest daughter being “kidnapped” (my Word, not His, led by Satan from the search to the bondage of a life of sin.
He spoke and even continues to speak of the indescribable pain he went through during her absence(years not days as I remember) and how He in his own strength tried EVERYTHING to get her to come back to no avail; it was only when he was able to let go of it and let God bring her back, He listening to constant, fervent prayer by the church and of course he and his wife, that the prayers were answered in a miraculous way. Through the suffering, he learned obedience and it took his knowledge of God to a whole new level, not to mention the knowledge of the believers of the church. All Jesus’s miracles were to glorify the Father and this did so and Jesus the Son was also glorified through it. Sorry I got carried away there, I lack your eloquence and writing skills given you by God, to Him be the glory for your ministry and the peace, joy and comfort you bring to so many.

The enemy is doing war against our children more than ever these days. So many mothers have shared their struggles with me lately that it placed a big burden in my heart to pray for their children. God is bigger and the only chain Breaker! To Him be the glory!

I just taught a 9 weeks class and God certainly strengthened and healed the hearts of many mothers. It was powerful!! I interviewed Dr. Banks twice and nothing has strengthened and empowered the women and me more for this battle that will only be won on our knees.
