This post peaked my interest as there is a chasm between my daughter and me. I have continually offered the olive branch of peace and have asked for forgiveness for my part in our strained relationship, but unfortunately it has not been reciprocated. I have tried to mend the breach, but perhaps her heart is not ready. I keep praying earnestly that the Holy Spirit would soften her heart and heal her hurts so that she would want to live free of emotions that poison the soul. Encouraged to hear stories of redemption!
