In the moment of feeling the fire, it is comforting to know that it will not last, that through it we will and can become more beautiful. We must claim this or else we will keep ourselves in the fire with our attitudes. Faith has become so real to me over the years. It keeps me going and gives me a reason to get up each day. It gives me the perspective of knowing that God is at work, and each day is a new opportunity. I truly believe that my attitude of faith is a very important part of helping myself “mentally” to get out of the fire. We must develop “eyes of faith” and as we do, we begin to see what God is doing for us, amidst the pain. Thank you for sharing, a great reminder!
