Karen, just recently I realized I was trying to play God by figuring out the future in trying to make a decision. When I saw this I stopped and said, I quit trying to know the future. Just lead me. Peace immediately flooded me. God’s shoulders are big enough to carry all our burdens and all the world’s problems. I can’t.

Your third point really resonated with me. I stood on Psalm 37:4 for many years during my infertility struggle. Learning to delight in Him was a challenge because so often I was delighting in what I THOUGHT was His will for my future!

All these years later, I know desiring God is the main focus of my life.
